The Millgrove House

The redesign of the living and dining space at The Millgrove House embraces a charming blend of rustic character and countryside chic. The intention was to brighten the interior, creating a fresh, neutral foundation that allows rich plum, earthy terracotta, and deep navy to introduce warmth and personality. Layered patterns, tactile fabrics, and natural textures bring depth and character to the spaces, while dark timber accents celebrate the home's rustic charm. Playful cottage-inspired details, from decorative canoe paddles to vintage artwork and thoughtfully curated décor, create a cozy, nostalgic atmosphere. The result is a welcoming, character-filled home that balances traditional farmhouse charm with a fresh, eclectic approach to country living.
