Milton Keynes Women’s Museum & Archive

This project proposes a Women’s Archive and Museum to honour the often-overlooked contributions of women in shaping the city of Milton Keynes, both historically and in the present day. The project will address the historical imbalance in the city’s narrative, bringing the vital stories of women to the forefront and showcasing their influence on Milton Keynes’ growth, while also highlighting the broader impact of women across the UK. Ultimately, this extension will provide a platform for education, empowerment, and reflection, ensuring that the contributions of women are recognized, celebrated, and preserved for future generations.
